VN contains more content - there are different endings based on your actions (mostly answering emails).
It's definitely worth it. It took me about 40 hours to finish the VN.

Hope you'll enjoy this VN after you buy it. I think it might go on sale during autumn.
I also played Steins;Gate 0 on ps4, and I got a better connection and constants between first game and S;G0 when you played the first ones before the latter.
The only problem is whatever you are up to just reading only throughout entire thing or not. I personally feel no different between playing game or watching anime since story is all I want, and VN has better story detailed.
I bought it anyway... gonna play it after I finish some other games
