No Flashlight

So in Volga my flashlight stopped working maybe 30 minutes before someone fell in the chemical bunker. Now I'm in the desert not even to the first town thing and my flashlight still isn't working like 5-6 hours later. Not in an area that disables it or NVG, NVG works fine. Flashlight? Won't turn on. Pull out the charger and the bar's empty but I can't charge it no matter what I click or press.

"So I figured it out. You just jump back inside the car, turn the lights on and off then jump out again. This worked for me when I tried it. Good luck everyone"

If you have the night vision goggles on, then you can't turn on the flashlight, instead that button toggles the night vision on and off, are you sure that you don't have your goggles down? You need to press 'N' to take the goggles on or off, you cannot have both goggles and flashlight on at the same time.

I'm absolutely sure I don't have them on at the same time, because I lost the flashlight's functionality well before I got the goggles which I mentioned in the opening post. If it stopped working 30 minutes before a story mission that precedes entering the fishtank where the NVG reside I probably didn't have them then.

This happened to me after the swamp. Way past any car. You reach some radiation and it makes your electronics stop working. When I left the radiation, my light came back on. I died and when the check point loaded back up, the light no longer worked at all. I have since left that area and entred the dead city chapter. Still... nothing. no charge. no NV, no flashlight.

Same thing happened to me. I tried restarting, didn't work. There's no car after the Taiga spider section though (well, you drive for a little bit in Novi, but you can't turn those lights off), so i guess i'm just screwed.

Deep Silver looked at it and concluded - thanks to an unhelpful Steam user who misguided them - it was a game feature (it is not). I even posted video proof that shows it is indeed a bug and Deep Silver has completely written this off.

Unbelievable.
