SLI support
Is there any support for nvidia SLI? Or some profile?
I want to be ready to play. :)

No. RTX features were apparently prioritized over multi-GPU support.

This is sad.
So I spent 2200usd (gtx 1080) on gpus.
Bought gold edition. And I dont get support for sli?
If metro support sli i could play game on high settings with no problem. But now ....no need for comment....
Thats really make me sick.
So I should buy every year new gpu? It doesnt make any sense.

Ok I was angry about epic but I get it.

But what I dont get it is why console players going to play metro sooner that pc players in eu.

I like metro and I want to support devs but this is too much.
I am thinking about refund.

You can't know if sli will work or not, there is not sli profile, but that doesn't mean it's over, you have to wait tomorrow and try with nvidia inspector.

Check the GeForce forums. It's being tried currently, so far nobody has managed to get SLI working. And for RTX card owners like me, having DX12 multi-GPU support is an absolute must. Really bums me out that the game didn't launch with SLI support like it's previous entries. Instead they focused on a technology that barely changes the looks of the game and murders performance. I now have 2 2080 Tis and I would absolutely LOVE to see how ray tracing performs in SLI at 4K Ultra

Yes sli is possible, no, it's not a good idea.

One doesn't need SLI if all the fancy is shut off. Who cares about the RTX, but hairworks, psyhx, etc are nice to have.
It is a darn same SLI isn't there.

I'm not liking the game very much anyway.. so.. sad that SLI isn't there, but i don't really care.

also, what cards are those? The single card perf is really low. That is what my card is doing with ray tracing on.

That's a dual 1080ti system, so no rtx.

I have never understood all the SLI hate. I have run SLI since 2012 or so and have had great luck with it. Skyrim, Doom, Witcher3, Dishonored, Far Cry5, GTA V, Fallout 4, Shadow of the tombraider, all did great with SLI. Metro Exodus has been no exception. I am a couple of hours in playing at 4k/ultra settings with a pair of 1080ti's. FPS are in the 70-80 range typically, but I have it locked down to 60 with gsync enabled. If you want to game at 4K, SLI is a great option IMO. If you are gaming at 1080p, don't bother. I will agree that SLI profiles are often not top priority for the devs, so for some of the games mentioned it was a few weeks before a solid profile was available (FO4 was one of these).

Hello everyone.

HOW do I make an sli profile?
This is my 1st sli rig since 8800/9800 cards (a LONG time ago, like when SLI 1st came out, that 8800gt/9800 cards).
I have 2 2080's, and would love to be able to max (if I can) Metro (1st I would like to be able to LAUNCH it, lol), but after that use it in SLI.
So, WHAT do I HAVE to have/know to be able to do SLI where there isnt any SLI?

MANY MANY thanks for this, as it will help in not only Metro, but any other game that doesnt use sli.

I believe since this game uses DX12 and the devs have talked about ASYNC usage I do not thing you can run SLI in this game. Just run DX12 mode and I believe the 2080s should operate together with async.

You need to download nvidia inspector. I used the 0x2A0117F5 sli-compatibility bits and it appears to work well.

mGPU support has nothing to do w/ DLSS & RTX (DX12 DXR). Even benchmarks have all 3 on.

I believe he is saying that if time was limited they put effort into DXR and DLSS instead of mGPU or SLI.
