Not fully, but it does have a couple of larger levels with fully explorable maps that are basically mini open worlds

several pretty large and open maps linked together by story missions. you progressively find upgrades and weapons and such as you progress through the story

you can find a lot of cool stuff by walking around and looking behind buildings or whatever

not "open world" as much as "open region"

Eh not exactly that, Yakuza is fully open world, it’s just a smaller but dense world. Exodus is basically a linear game overall but a couple of levels take place in larger maps that you can go off and explore.

Yeah, so far its most a story themed game with small to medium open areas
Really depends what you call open world, but I think if you're looking for a typical open world game, you're gonna be pretty disappointed.

I'm into open world myself, that's why I have a large amount of Ubisoft games.

I really enjoy a good open world, and I really like Metro Exodus, but for vastly different reasons.

It's linear with large levels in between that have some missions that can be completed in a non-linear order.

SEMI-OPEN WORLD

Short Answer: no, not like Ubi ones.

Long answer: Only in some levels, you have to complete some linear ones before going to the open ones.
