ARGENTINA PEOPLE CAN'T EVEN BUY THE GAME . THIS IS COMPETITION?
The only freaking place currently supporting local currency / Local credit cards and cash payment methods is steam so far by supporting this exclusivity BS Deep silver you are literally closing the chance of millions of people to buy the game since many like me use local Credit card and Cash Pago facil option. Games should be mulitplatform stores we are entering in a ERA of anti-consumer that will drag many of gamers out of this hobby . I will never support a single game from you after this fiasco

Payment methods which are not universally available worldwide.

Steam, OTOH, accepts other payment methods, in regions where those are the most commonly available options.

No es competencia, son unos garcas forros chinos que sobornaron al publisher. Olvidate amigo, yo safe que lo precompre ni bien salio en steam por 600 pesos pero nunca en la vida les compro un juego mas.

Even better - the Epic store is not available for chinese customers, despite 40% of Epic Games being held by Tencent, a chinese company.
How many countries can't actually buy the game now? So far it's Argentina, China and Japan. Any more?

Pretty sure most of Latam cant because EGS has no regional pricing and they ask for USD, which is a good way to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by tax

It's true that S America (and Mexico) must buy in USD, but it's still an option. It's $59.99 for MX and $39.99 for Brazil according to my VPN. I can't check other S American countries unfortunately. It's weird that it's more expensive in MX than it is the US.

USA: $49.99
Mexico - $59.99
Brazil - $39.99

It's typically cheaper in Brazil due to the purchasing power parity, that makes sense. But more expensive in Mexico? I don't get that one.

Argentina Prices of steam in most Games published are the cheapest around the world along side Russia taking outside companies like konami or Namco that now increase the price substanially .

Lol so the epic store that's own majorty by the Chinese goverment through proxy won't allow their own citizens to purchase their games, that's a whole new level of scumbagry I am kinda impressed.

3rd world problems.
USA with Epic has a lower price than Steam had of about $10. They are the only one that gain from this. EU countries either pay the same or more. Rest of the world pays more because they pay in $$$
ClaudioScope Jan 30, 2019 @ 1:21pm
They shoulda made it exclusive to the US only, since they are the only ones who are getting the "discount".

And keep the steam pruchase option open to the rest of the world!

Tencent is a 40% shareholder. That's not majority.
