Shazza Race

Ok, so has anyone actually beaten Shazza in outback safari? I've been trying for far too long now and no matter what I try I just cannot beat her.

Its a shame I'm getting so frustrated at this game I loved when I was younger, I cannot be the only one struggling so much on this race :(

She DOES seem to speed up a fair bit after you exit that part with the waterfall.

Try constantly pressing your bite button whenever you're on a part of the road that's pretty much just a straight line since you can't turn when Bull (the big pig that you control in the level) is charging/jumping/biting/whatever-action-it-is-they're-doing.

It seems to make you move faster and it also appears to help you escape the pull of the tornados or whatever they are that are scattered around the level so that should help.

It's pretty difficult but not impossible. Cut the road and keep trying.

I also found that using keyboard and mouse instead of a controller can help this race, I just managed to do it today, but appreciate the patch!

wow so many ppl having issues beating her. beat her first try and was way ahead of her. Given ive played this game on my ps2 since i was little so i was used to the bulls way of running. never used his stomp. it actuall one of the easier time atttacks for me. just try to cut as many corners as u can.

Try using the Race Line when making turns. The goal is to go straight as much as you can, because that will keep your speed up. That bull has poor acceleration, so try to avoid stops or slow downs as much as possible, and definitely watch those twisters!
