Dennis is most certainly gay, I could see Ty being bisexual. Something about his personality just makes it seem like he is. But apparently Ty is canonically straight, or at least bi, and in that case I think its best to defer to canon.

I think the games are left open ended where we can make up our own conclussions. Ty at this point has no real confirmation . Like how in Mario kart Luigi and Daisy are teased as a couple. Or how starfox always had gay undertones. To the point in smash bros there was confirmed gay refferences to Seme and uke. For Wolf and Fox.

Considering the offical art at least the ones I own on steam. Never shows Shazza and Ty kiss or anything romantic. It's kinda hard to agree he is more than friends with her. Honestly I could kinda see Ken and Dennis dating at some point. An maybe Shazza with Sly for some time. But, being the Ty series cast is rather small. It's kinda hard to piece what could or not work . You know what I mean? With how little story and character building. There's not enough to concretely say for sure what a character is like or who they would date.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, in ty 1 wasn't shazza just the girl . Kinda like how Kairi just existed in kingdom hearts to be captured with no real character grown. An adding Ty was suppose to be a Aussie version or take on Sonic adventure. So, with the small budget. I don't think having a concrete story would work for the characters. Since, that hurts the idea for what ifs that could potentionally open up ideas for Ty5 or some other Ty game.

Which game is that booklet from? I think I have the serial on GameCube an I don't think the booklet had that.

Based on ty 1 it does seem like there dating. However, if no one had the booklet. The loose story does feel like Ty could end up with Shazza, Ken ( be it very unlikely), or Dennis. Since, at least based on what little story is in game. Ty has more screen time with Dennis than anyone else.

I'm not gonna say he's gay. Given you provided proof that he was dating her as of Ty1. But, considering the wishy washy romance. I just don't see them lasting.

Maybe it would end up with another tasmanian tiger later on.
