Workshop and official support is not required and this game seems like a great game to mod so I'm surprised if there isn't already some mods out there.
mods dont randomly pop up like magic, someone needs to figure out how to get into the file type containing the game's files, then create tools to convert model/texture/etc files to be placed in the game. it's a lot of work and none of that is done right now because ty isnt a big enough franchise to garner that sort of dedication. i knew one guy that was sort of working at it but i don't know were he is now and what his progress is.
I would like to see custom rangs or maybe levels as well. I am a big fan of mods as they, in a nutshell, extend the life of an already fantastic game.
your looking for the "reveal items" cheat. itll create a vertical pillar of color over every collectable item in the level.
