What other great PS2 era games are now on Steam?

I stumbled across this great game I never got to play on the PS2 and it got me wondering how many other games like it are now available or coming soon.

There isn't really a great tag or filter for them to find them right away.

That's what I'm saying I didn't do, because I was too dumb. I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to PC's; sure I can move around some files to get Fallout 3 to work, but if someone wants me to replace the motherboard or something, they're sh*t outta luck.

I probably should've listened to Rags and Fringy. They said it's really easy to build a PC, and Bullet Barry said I could build one for dirt cheap; but I was too stubborn to listen. So since the one I have now is expensive, I'm using it until it dies, or I do.

You can build a good rig for $500 or $600. It may not look the best it can be, but it'll till be a good rig for cheap pay.

I want to build another new computer and the parts I want all cost well under 2000 dollars and they're high end parts too

There are a lot of great PS2 classics such as Jack and Daxter, Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, etc.

But many of these games (some times the entire series) are just ported to the next gen console.

For the games listed above they are all PS2 games that have HD Remasters for the PS3.

Man I have all the sly games and the jack games! along with spyro they are the best games ever made! soo much fun! i have a contact that works for sony and i am pestering him all the time for jak and daxter remake or additional game! not just another remaster! I am told that its not official no is there any work going ahead atm but something like that may be worked on at some point in future!!!

Its likely that the Spyro Trilogy is real. Now that Crash N Sane trilogy is coming to steam soon, Spyro Trilogy will likely follow suit.

GUN is a ps2 era game that ended up on Steam. It's a really fun actiony western game.

I suppose the Crash N-Sane Trilogy counts. Twinsanity remastered/remade on PC would be kickass.

Those games you all pointed out are all owned by Sony, that's why. Which is no surprise, they're PS2 games, but still an explanation nonetheless.

Maybe next generation Sony will do ♥♥♥♥ and start trying to appeal to the PC market as a way to compete, the way Microsoft has this generation, but probably not.

Shame, too, because Jak & Daxter emulates poorly on PC.

i dont think that sony will ever bring their games over to pc but alot of jrpg games have been brought over to pc because the japanese devs know that steam is a wonderful platform for their games to have very little censorship on the games and i hope sony doesnt bring their first party games to pc

Although not Devil May Cry 2, forget that game even exists.
