What other great PS2 era games are now on Steam?
I stumbled across this great game I never got to play on the PS2 and it got me wondering how many other games like it are now available or coming soon.

There isn't really a great tag or filter for them to find them right away.

I don't think many. Most old gen games are ported to the next consoles in line

This.
There are a lot of great PS2 classics such as Jack and Daxter, Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, etc.

But many of these games (some times the entire series) are just ported to the next gen console.

For the games listed above they are all PS2 games that have HD Remasters for the PS3.

Offhand, I know Beyond Good & Evil, Final Fantasy X/X-2, and Final Fantasy XI are on Steam.

Star wars battlefront 2. Multiplayer on the main servers got shut down but you can use GameRanger and I believe people still play.

we dont have old systems anymore, so old games on steam is our best shot at revisiting them. even though i dont have this game i plan on getting it later this year

You don't keep your old systems? That's rather odd.

Legend of Kay. Never played it but it's a PS2 era game similar to Ty.

Cant speak for anyone else but personally, I dont have the space to keep more than 1 console set up at a time anymore (which is usually my kids Nintendo system anyway). Had more than a few consoles and handhelds going back to the old Atari 2600. I opted to sell them off about 15 years ago when I made the transition to gaming on PC.

Except my N64. No way am I ever selling that thing.

Why did no one mention Psychonauts? It was in the PS2/Xbox era and is an awesome 3D Platformer!

Absolutely. I just finished a 100% playthrough of the game, thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for Psychonauts 2 next year!

Quite different but Summoner is also available. It has aged a lot, but it's really worthy, a really great Action-RPG with a great lore and soundtrack.
