Whats the difference between shinovi versus and estival versus?

As the topic says. What is the difference between the two games? different stories?

Thanks for the reply! I've been wanting to get estival for ps4 so I did not want to buy shinovi on steam if it was pretty much the same game. The game is awesome btw. Thanks

The production values for Estival Versus are a lot higher than for Shinovi Versus. EV is a PS4 game (although it also was released for the Vita, but it runs terribly), while SV was only a PS Vita game. EV has lot more going on in battles: bombs, mechas and better animated and incorporated transformation and special attack sequences. Graphics are better as well. Estival Versus doesn't directly come after Shinovi Versus, it's some kind of side-story.

Shinovi Versus is the side story/alternate telling of the Senran Kagura series (which are currently 3DS only). Estival Versus is the sequel to Shinovi Versus.

Shinovi first if you want to be able to understand the story and characters. Estival if you just want to play the better looking game while being.hopelessly confused by almost everything going on.
