What's the GOG version? Any different or the same?

When I was about to boot up the game I saw the option that I can play the GOG version. Any differences?

I don't own the GOG version myself, but usually the only difference is GOG games don't have DRM.

Edit: Oh the launch menu for the game from steam actually offers that option... huh. No idea what that does. I thought he was referring to how the game is also being sold on GOG and was asking if there where any differences.

I know this is a old thread but I'm answering this for those like me who wanted answers. In short, according to the patch notes, the GOG option you can select when you launch the game apparently lets your Steam version of the game do cross play with the GOG version of the game. I've no idea if the content is different between the two versions but I highly doubt it.

Maybe the GOG version is uncensored. I play this game today and fight against Hikage (im using Shiki) and never seen the completely rip off of her suit, the action was cut in the middle.

the Steam version IS uncensored (in a sense). GoG is probably identical. if you want to get rid of the light beams and see nipples, you need mods.

I said "uncensored" meaning "nothing removed", unlike I think on playstation, they had to remove the intimacy mode.

That only applied to Burst Renewal's Global release on PS4 iirc
