Some choices you made which I DONT think work.
1. Theres not enough save points. There is nothing worse than doing a whole level again. You really need mid saves per level.
2. While I understand you chose that you drop a ring where you die, I personally do not feel like this was a wise move. Most of the time the ring will drop itself like underneath the level where it is impossible to get and the only way would be restart which is infuriating if your a completionist.
3. Every time you die the portals reappear even if you have got everything from that portal. Really dumb move. Portals are often in my way from where i need to go and send me back to somewhere I have already completed putting me in even greater danger. This part of the game ticks me off the most.
4. The learning curve goes from one extreme to the other. First 5 levels easy. After that it becomes seriously WTH. Maybe tone it down a little bit in some of the earlier levels so that gamers really get a taste for the game.
5. Your game is not really casual gamer friendly. While it may seem that way since essentially you only need 3 'O' rings to move onto the next level, the whole losing your 'O' rings and the amount of travelling you have to do especially in the later levels is seriously fruiting ridiculous without saves. Hardcore gamers may have the zeal to spend a life time dying, most gamers do not. Seriously think you need a casual more friendly mode.
6. Let us rescue a few cows early some we have more determination to rescue the rest. The fact that even the earlier cows keep getting kidnapped again doesn't make me want to try and rescue the rest.
7. The whole emoji thing. Personally I would drop it. Your game is infuriating enough with no saves and constant dying, the emoji just adds salt to injury which adds disdain to game.

In the end casual gamers make a LOT of the market and the way this game is there is no way I could recommend it to them. Hardcore gamers might be more inclined to look at the game but I don't think there is many who would even stick with it. A beautiful game I think was aimed at the wrong market and has suffered because of that. Art Good. Music Good. Compatibility for a Casual Gamer - Very Bad.

One more thing. I just found it easier to grab a ring and kill myself on purpose at an easy location so I could grab that ring again when needed. A game that forces me to kill myself constantly. The whole lose 1 ring when you die, personally I do not feel was your best development decision.
