Raining Non Stop
For the love of Budda, wth does it rain all the time. I just uninstall The Flame in the Flood game because it rain 24/7 over there. Now over here, it freaking raining or snowing every day, I havent seen sunshine since I met Duras in the beginning area. I'm fixing to uninstall this BS, it wont stop raining.

Can't reproduce.

That mentioned, I've seen rain coming up in the forum a couple of times, but details on reproducing it aren't known. Do you sleep often? I mean, following Duras is optional. And quite some players misunderstand the initial gameplay requirements (= to survive and to explore the world in search of stuff & allies rather than fighting anything you run into) and return to a resting place all too often. Normally weather changes after some time, and particularly if you sleep until specific times of day - e.g. exploring at night can be beneficial, because creatures and humans sleep and can be avoided even more easily.

All I can say is it hasn't stop raining and I'm already half way through the game. It has not stop raining. I went to sleep for 3 days and woke up and its still raining.

from what i've heard some have this bug and no reason why it does it. Shouldn't rain in many areas like the desert, only snow in the north, most other areas should be little rain.

Search nexus for toasters no rain or snow mod which has helped people. I've played it tons of times and didn't really rain much through the game. But others have had the "rains all the time" problem, not sure why.
Could be a rare problem with RNG sources or lack of entropy. Surely sounds odd any time it comes up again. :steamhappy:

I thought Flame in the Flood game rains a lot, but man Elex is worse. No big deal if it always rain in Elex, but it kinda suck because it blot out my sight to see the surrounding areas.

I have constant rain too.
Is it raining or also dark clouds moving across the sky? Normally, you could watch the weather turn from bad to good, eventually with the sun being visible again and the last drops of rain fading out.

And what about Xacor? What happens in Xacor? Rain or snowfall? Snowfall at night in Xacor is one of the better weather features of the game.

I know what rain looks like. :)
Waiting around doesn't change anything, no rain fading out and definitely no sun coming out.
Don't know about xacor yet, I'm still running around in chapter 1. (Trying to complete everything before ending chapter 1).

Well atleast now, it stop raining, but now its freaking snowing. WTF, the snow is even worse than raining. I was running around in the desert near the fort and it was raining hard, then I get near them mountains, it started snowing, now its non stop snowing. I'm just bombing folks with that black hole skill from the clerics, luckily its at 5 ranks, dont need to have sight, just the red dots. I join them cleric at level 8, now I'm near level 40.

Uhm, it's a seamless open world where you can go anywhere at level 1 in chapter 1. So, yes, if you roleplay Jax as the former Alb, who wants to return to the Ice Palace in Xacor, you can go there for the immersion and draw conclusions.

Exploration is rewarding!

I know, I just don't appreciate running for my life all the time. :)

Weather update:
Edan: Constant rain all the time.
Abessa: Rain almost all the time, sun comes out rarely.
Tavar: Hot and dry.
Ignadon: Dry and depressing.
Xacor: Constant snow.
