Starting Caja's romance quest.
Playing on console, and I want to know how to start her romance quest. Is it tied to progression through chapters, like the companion quests? Is there something specific I need to do in order to start it?

First you need to maximize her loyalty. After you achieve the 'idolize' status and push a bit further, she will start asking if you think of her more than just a friend. This starts 'More Than Just Friends' quest. To actually finish it, you have to complete her own quest, which is tied to progression through chapters, like you said. At least that's how it was in my playthrough and I was able to finish her romance in Chapter 3.

get her to really like you = act like human when she's around. if you solo you stay solo ;)

Doubt it has anything to do with her liking you, or the cold level. Just do her sidequests when they become available, as some of these quests only become available in later chapters of the main story. Also keep in mind that romancing Nasty will make it impossible to romance Caja.

if you solo game and never take caja with you unless you must and then always choose dialogs she dislikes you'll never complete her companion/romance quest. even if you come back to her at end of game. it just happens what she likes correlates strongly with what decreases cold.
