Though, if you take seat while trying to steal, that means you try to rush. The object targeting indicator shows whether you would interact with a chair or crate/chest/item. Btw, it's not a problem that would be limited to chairs/benches, because the same can happen when you want to talk to an NPC at a merchant stall and target one of the offered wares instead, causing you to steal it and be attacked by the merchant.
?! and here i thought only point's to be able to take unobstructed screenshots :o
Here in Elex though, the whole thing just sticks out like a grandad's sagging balls under a furious summer sun. There is absolutely no need or appeal in this game to have such a mechanic in place.
SCNR
If I was using a mouse it would probably be a lot easier, but since the morons decided to hard code the hotkeys, I can't use the keyboard (I don't use WASD).
Minor annoyance they could have completely ommited and nobody would have said a thing considering it adds nothing to the actual game.
can it be modded out i wonder..
When talking to the Weapon Trader near Angrim's house, one must be careful as not to target the arrows near him accidentally. They could have avoided that, too, but there is no reason for a youtube video maker to ramble about that for two minutes in a gameplay video, which shows that the author is happy about every minor bug to complain about.
I work in the oil field and regularly work 200+ hours bi-weekly. I work three weeks on, two days off, so when my days off come around and I get to play, the absolute last thing I want to do is waste my time staring at my character's face. He's sitting on a bench not doing anything and I'm sitting at my computer not doing anything. That's the opposite of fun.
