Animations! it is 2017 Piranha bytes!!!!

I really tried to like the game, but if i see (more important feel) the character in this game once again stop - stand up straight - turn around in place and THAN walk to the other direction i jump out of the window. I did not not expect a AAA game but the main character animations are the worst i "felt" and "saw" in a long time.

Was it to expensive for piranha bytes to hire a college student give him a kinekt from ebay and mico mico dance? I mean really this way you probably would have some decent animation in your game. For your main Character.

The lack of a fluent feeling animation really drives me crazy and makes the game unplayable for me.
It really makes no sense.The world looks ok, is huge, you have nice quests, but if you want to explore this world your character`s movement feels like he is driving a wheel chair.

You F***ed it up piranha bytes. And the sad thing is you f**ked it up with a simple thing you could have fixed with 1 week more work.

Ok cmon now, whil i really don't agree it's a bad as you make it sound (Though, might be me just getting used to their ways), "fixing" things in a week.....not gonna happen. Just using Mocap to capture animation is one thing, but from what i know, you still have to edit to some degree those, clean them up, and that's all before you actually make a proper system that blends properly all these animations......it's not easy or small task to finish in one week.

PB may be at fault here, but it's by no means such an easy thing to fix.

There are some instances here and there where the character animations are a little wonky, but nothing that distracts from the gameplay for me.

Yes i am used to modern animation. I want them in an action RPG for 49.99€ in 2017. In a game were running around and fighting is a main part of the game mechanic. Wtf even the Gothic series feel better than this game. And no making a set of decent main character movement animations isnt very expensive.

I don't get why people complain about animations and graphics this much. Personally I like the graphics a lot. The environments are very well-crafted and I don't care if the animations aren't the smoothest ever. But.. to each his/her own.

I am not going to tell you all rpgs of the last 2-3 years go to google my friend.
Hell even a what 6 year(?) old skyrim has a more decent animation and movement feel of the main character.
Again its 2017 and a game for 49 bucks should have a decent movement feel and animation and not the movement of a game from 2001 (Gothic 1)
Ok thats maybe too harsh the movement feels like 2002 (Gothic 2 ) ;D

Also, it is good to remember Steam offers the refund option. Simply make a refund request if you don't like the product how it currently is.

That sort of entitled whining will not help improving anything you don't like.

In a world that has become infected with pox ridden retro pixel games you think these graphics suck ? I never seem to see complaints about the pure laziness of devs making new pixel game garbage. It's not retro. It's not edgy and cool. That's where you graphically challenged whiners need to go. Not here.

PB have made a game as they want to make it. If you wish to play their game you can purchase it from them and enjoy what they have made as it is. If you cannot do this then sod off. That is your right. Unhappy ? Get a refund. Wanna whine about it then go buy a box of tissues, park your backside in a dark corner somewhere and go have a cry.

There must be dozens of threads about the same friggin thing. Too lazy and entitled to join someone elses tirade you just start a new one as if it's something original and interesting.
