how does hacking work and is it busted?

how does it work and why can't i put some numbers in that are available

Not busted.. you hit the button to hack ofcourse then you put in 4 random numbers from the keypad ,,, some wont work I think because the number combos would take forever to try and thats the games way of helping you out keep trying numbers that will input into the keypad... you dont get locked out just remember wich numbers turn up green and in what order.

green numbers = right number in right place
yellow numbers = right number in wrong place
red numbers = wrong number

i understand the green number parts my problem is the keypad shows 123 when i press those it does not accept them its accept it only when i start with 9 wich is not a green number

i had 0 yellow numbers i did manage to get all 4 green but the numbers where not in order maybe i need to level up my hacking? or is it buged for me?

There must be a number you havent tried starting with yet I know it messes with me too sometimes ... but I havent come across one I couldnt get in yet.

Pay attention to those "< > =" , you have to pick numbers accordingly

< and > indicates if the next number needs to be higher or lower than the previous

If you find that you're not able to enter a number, it means that the game is actually being nice to you and that number wouldn't work to begin with. If all the numbers don't work, then delete the previous numbers too since those are likely wrong as well.

It's confusing, but you'll learn to appreciate it.

And = is used as well for the same number.
