Anyone manage to save Ulbricht?

During Ulbricht Big Offensive quest, it is impossible to make him stay alive. He always die during the third battle at the converter even before i reach there. Has anyone manage to save his sorry ass? :-(

If you have enough emotion you can get him to join you, which makes it easier keeping him alive. Just make sure to kill the Colossi first, since they're the biggest threat

Nah, I forgot about him, and then saw his body... didn't really care as I'm an outlaw.

You have choices, and you can prevent that result. Ulbricht died during my first two playthroughs, but during my third neither he nor Reinhold died. It's possible. You're just not making the choices to optimize that outcome or thinking outside the box. I even shadowed Ulbricht back to the Hort just to make certain that he survived, since he walks off alone.
