How to recruit Nasty?

I did her companion quests, but she won't join me. Something about a bigger challenge. Do I have to complete more of the main mission line before she'll join me or what?

It's main story locked.

She's recruitable once you have to choose who to lead a particular attack.

And yes: I did spend ~30 mins baby-sitting her slow walk back to town thinking it might be a bug.

have you joined a faction yet? i joined the clerics and the first quest was an offensive against the albs. They ask you to find a commander for the mission. Find nasty and tell her to be their commander because you will attack the albs. After you finish the mission, she asks what you will do later. tell her you will attack their main fortress and that she should come with you. She will become a follower.

Yeah I haven't joined a faction yet. Guess I have to stop putzing around exploring and start on the main quests, cause I'm getting me some Nasty. And yes, that works as a euphemism.

You can do the quest without being in a faction.

I recruited her after doing the attack quest. She doesn't like me very much, though. Unless I am a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to everybody she gets angry. Unfortunately all the quests that she would have liked I did before I met her, so I'm stuck at the respect level.

She even attacked me once, but I think it was a bug. I was supposed to take out a Runner whose carravan got attacked, she liked when I chose to attack him, but then she attacked me, and I couldn't attack her back. I had to load an earlier save.
