Yes. Anything with blue veins really (large cyborgs etc).
Tbh, the game would be better balanced if natural elex only came from veins / mutants.

♥♥♥♥ THAT HYBRID MFer!
I think its just a bug, since some traders automatically restock and some haven't stocked once during my playthrough (still in the first chapter)
Yep and it totally breaks the game in certain ways once you "get on the Elex grind"
I wonder if anyone has specifically asked PB about this.
Honestly, attributes don't even matter that much, the equipment does. If I notice things right, attributes don't even affect your combat possibilities in this game, they are simply for getting better perks and better equipment, which you also need to get first.
The attribute points start costing a ridicilous amount later on, currently I need 5 points to get one point in strength. So its actually good (in a way) that you can get the points easily
But yeah, the attribute points don't really matter, though some items require a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of points to use them
Raising stats to the higher levels would be absolute bollocks otherwise.
Plus it's a money sink so that money never becomes a useless thing to get.
They could have done something like "hollowing" in Souls. Your character will be colder and change appearance the more Elex you take. It should have quest / dialog significance.
Besides, the alignment system is kinda wonky. I'm going to pay you off so I don't have to kill you....my coldness increased? WTF?!
I think that's just a cutscene though. There doesn't seem to be any active game mechanics connected your character when taking more and more Elex.
Another thing is I don't see much diffrence except I am able to carry more powerfull weapons and all the weapons I want at the same time.
For the record there is around 150 points to level one skill to 90 from 60. this leves us with 75 potions per skill, so I used around 400 elex potions during grind and ended up Ice cold.
