I've literally left nothing in the homes of the zerkers. ^^
People often say you play a bald ugly-looking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, so why should I care? XD
So if you don't care about cheesing your way through the game by saving and, if you mess up, loading, stealing everything is a good way to progress quicker, and the only thing to really look out for is not to accidentally quicksave without noticing that you've been seen. ;)
If you want to play without savescumming, you've got to be REALLY careful not to be caught while stealing.
And as is tradition with PB-Games, some people do "no stealing"-runs to make the game a bit harder and avoid the immersion-breaking awkwardness of being able to basically steal things when people _should_ be able to see you, but are mechanically not able to.
