You can change the language in your game library by right clicking on the game, then settings and in the languages tab you can change it to another language. This can be done with any other steam game which is available in different languages. I'm surprised you didn't know this yet. It will then download the language files (audio etc.) if you switch the language. Just changing the config file won't help because you won't have the English audio files installed.

Wat. The default language isn't German.

You can also change the language in Steam. Right click on the game in your library and then on properties.

Forgotten about the language tab in steam... never needed to use it before. Don't know about other people, but my game was defaulted to german and in my opinion it's still a poor design not to have a language option in-game.

For me it started in english. Just change the language over steam.

To be fair, that is the case with almost all games today. Some may offer to change the text and interface language ingame. But roleplaying games which rely on a lot of voice lines almost always have this option only available via Steam language options. Like Mass Effect, Dragon Age Origins etc. and most other games. Games with little or no voice acting or where the sound/voice is only available in 1 language (GTA V for example) usually have language options in the ingame menu itself.

Well it's a non issue now. 1,5 hours of not enjoying either the feel or the look of the game was enough for me to ask for a refund. Just doesn't feel it's worth it's price now.

That's too bad, the game is only rough in the beginning and gets much better later on, but I don't blame you for staying under the 2 hour mark and refunding before it's too late. It's better than regretting the purchase after 10 hours. But some games are just harder to get into (I'm not talking about difficulty).

Yeah it's sad that you have to decide before 2 hours in order to get a refund since the game isn't that satisfying in the beginning

I believe it get's better farther into the game and that 2 hour limit really sucks... But there's just so many other good and fun games to play, that i don't want to use hours on hours to force myself to get into a game and maybe finally start enjoying it. Maybe i'll get this one again later on...
