Everyone has an opinion. If you can do a better job apply for a job as a reviewer....
It took me some hours and a few restarts but this is definitely feeling like a current gen Gothic.
If you have are having problems with this game, I would suggest checking out the combat video and maybe rethink your build, because this game is really, really good.
My only real gripe after figuring everything out are ladders.
OMFG. The ladders. So slow climbing up and down them....
What makes Elex average is the feeling of getting stronger. Level and equipment systems are great. You always have where to spend points, elexite, you want to level up and get better equipment. Also this makes exploring interesting, because you cant go everywhere. Honestly if there was a better combat and better text this game would be a masterpiece. Too bad PB doesnt evolve one bit.
Stupid "lol" at the end of every sentence...
The IGN Review of Elex is one of the worst Reviews i've seen the last Years (yes.. Years!)
They "just" Commented the Controling System, thats all...
Nothing more, JUST the Controling System :D
Thats the pillar on which Reviews should stand!! ;)
And also the Elex Review is not a Paid like all the "Top" games :D
After 37 hours of playing the game, i can see why ign gave it a poor rating, i'd give it a 6/10 personally because it has some redeeming qualities in my opinion.
I honestly believe IGN's reviews was off the mark with their score. The game is atleast a 6.5/10.
The guy is a either a troll or has some serious issues. He'll attack anyone and make up half truths along the way, so I just gave up bothering trying to discuss with them.
How many people have you called psycho's or trolls on the forums so far for critisizing ELEX ?
I'm surprised anyone takes you seriously.
*facepalm*
IGN said why they gave it a poor rating, and that included because enemies levels scale too quickly relative to the player (enemies levels actually don't scale at all in ELEX), and because the game was so hard it took the reviewer over 2 hours to beat one boss (the boss in question had a skull-symbol next to their health-bar, which indicates it was way beyond the player's level and should be fought by them at that time).
So, sure, you could see what IGN gave the review score they did. You could see the enemy level scaling that doesn't exist and the big bad high level boss that wouldn't simply scale down to your player's level.
You clearly don't know what you're talking about - as usual.
This is what i mean, you put words that i've never said, i only said IGN i understand why IGN would give the game a poor score, not that i agreed with every word in the review.
Psycho? One. Troll? At least a few - and there've been many more trolls here than that. Yourself put a lot of effort into being one, if you'll recall.
Do you have a problem with having your past efforts being recognized for what they were?
And in case you didn't notice, it's you, and other trolls that people stopped taking seriously a long time ago.
