Converter parts
Why is it that in the quest to get the converter parts, your options are to either give the parts to the guy who was sent to get them, or kill him to take them?
Just giving them to him or simply going together seems like an obvious answer, however if you do give them to him, Ragnar says that you weren't able to get the parts, when you in fact both got the parts and also brought a person back who was thought to be dead.

Furthermore, another quest requires killing an outlaw for Ornir. But talking to him reveals that Ornir was making trades with him, your options are killing him, or reestablishing the trade. Not killing him makes Ragnar pissy aswell. Why can't i rat him out? or confront Ornir about it and just tell the outlaw to get leave?

I'd like to know what other options might be available for your first question myself, but for the second post, you can turn Omir in to Jora, after which Omir calls you an a-hole, but I'm not sure how Ragnar feels about that option.

Third option is take them and sell them at black market, kidding the guy who teaches crafting skills in berserk village will buy them from you.

But there's no option that makes Ragnar happy that doesn't involve killing one of his own people?

Found a solution! Pickpocket Korin and steal his converter parts. Take them back to Jora and you'll tell Jora that Korin was too scared to finish his task. Jora says he'll send a patrol to go retrieve Korin. This way Korin lives, Jora is happy, Ragnar is happy, and you'll get more XP than the other 2 solutions.

If you don't want to waste skill/attribute points on the pickpocket skill, you can get it for free from an amulet. Go to the front entrance of the Domed City, near the teleporter there is a tower off to the side which contains the amulet (though you might get shot at as you are getting it, so be ready to flee).

Oh, and have Duras as a companion when giving the parts to Jora to get extra Elexit as payment.

That does seem like the best solution. Still would make more sense if you could just bring him, but i guess this is alright

Your third option does exist. First you talk to the outlaw, then talk to Ornir but DO NOT go down the dialog paths that convince him to start trading again, then you can report Ornir to Jora.

Aaaaagh, I wish I found this thread before I finished that quest.

I found Korin's Weapon and gave it to him, and I was wondering why my character was trying to bully Korin into handing over his Converter Parts.

I was forced to kill him because he attacked me, and the Questgiver chalked it up to him being cursed and making his curse come true.

Next time I'll pickpocket

But Korin doesn´t know he don´t have those converter parts anymore.
He return to Goliat, but when I speak to him, there is still only ask him "give me those parts" and then he attack me. Regardless that he is back in town and that Jora already have those parts.

Yeah it does end a little weird that way, but at least he's alive and back in Goliet and everyone is happy, just avoid talking to him.
