(Spoiler) Is it posible that Ulbricht survives?

Did the quest where i need to attack the converter in ignadon like 10 times now but ulbricht always dies. if its a scripted death so he should not survive or am i too slow. or is it because of the choice i took?

it depends on who goes to fight where. iirc only way to guarantee he survives's taking him with you and then you can babysit.

i kinda regretted it later because i only took companion precisely to keep npcs away from danger and then he died. so i thought it must always happen that way but later learned others had him survive :/

only way to keep him alive is to have him in your group(first choice) and you have cold level that is very low....you have to be high emotion to have that choice available. and even then have to protect him too. one way is to kill everything yourself after the first battle; if you are high enough level. dont talk to nasty just go forward yourself and kill everything at your pace then head back and talk to nasty to bring the party(group) forward to each point.

Made him survive by killing all 2 albs waves by myself. :-) But for final battle I didn't bother, I tried at least reduce the numbers but it seems not really possible. So I triggered final normally and didn't bother on any NPC. But he survived anyway.

One of the silliest scenarios of the game. You had to search all corners of Magalan to find a commander of this army of 6 humans and 6 robots, and ended up with tactical genius Nasty, whose tactic was to shout "attack" and run straight at the enemy. Who knew it would be so hard to find someone who could do that!

That's what I did, and Ulbricht disappeared completely until after the ending when he reappeared in his office.

It's so hard because everybody refused, you was unable to find anybody and had no choice Nasty or nothing. Many aspects of a RPG aren't realistic, towns fake, living fake, quests artificial, many more. So yeah it could have been more sophisiticated but a lot of work for one combat and some sequences. im' not sure, RpG and war doesn't fit, and try cut a war in precises sequences is very artificial and always boring.

i dont want to open a new thread now so, anyone knows if its posible to do something against knockdown? some weapons like this ?flamethrower? knocks me down instant and sometimes its not posible to get up again.

dont think you can completely prevent it. you can max parry strength skill put on best armor and i think it still happens for some weapons even with max stamina. with such mechanism in elex often fight's determined by who stunlocks first :/

Another way I found is to keep talking to him while your forces run ahead and engage enemy. So by the time you get there most of the fight is nearly over and he is at the back shooting. :)
