Helping Jora - Elex supplies
Got the quest from Jora, and spoke with Korin close to the converter. I got the 3 converter parts that Korin hadn't already collected, and his club, then gave these items to Korin to save his ass. Went back to Jora and told him the full story. Ragnar then tells me that I failed to help Jora.
Is the only way to get credit from Ragnar for helping Jora, to demand that Korin give you the converter parts he has collected, and them bring them to Jora yourself?

Ye, you need to get the parts from Korin. But don't worry too much about the berserker quests. You can complete them in any way you want. No further spoilers.

How to finish the quest with max XP and without bloodshed.

1- Grab the Thief's Amulet outside Dome City.
2- Find Korin club
3- Equip the amulet and steal the converter parts from Korin.
4- Give Korin the club
5- Return to Jora and give him the converter parts and tell him you found Korin.

Thief's Amulet location.

You can kill Korin, he is an easy fight, but you if have a companion with you, they will not participate. There is no lawful good in Elex, I tried at first, but eventually treated those exiled from the Berserkers as fair game.

That's what you get for trying to help people, lol. But yeah, I thought it was weird you don't get any credit for helping the guy get the parts. I guess they really wanted to make it a binary choice. The same thing happened to me in the early quest where the pit guy (whose name I forgot) asks you to get rid of an outlaw for him. If you tell the authorities that the guy was selling weapons to the outlaw and get him arrested, Ragnar still counts it as if you failed to help him. Doesn't matter much either way in the end.

Yeah, my sympathy for the exiles ended when a bunch of them ambushed and attacked me during my first visit in the valley. They were fair game from then on. :)

That mission is all about pleasing Jora, who tasks Jax with the job - not about trying to role-play Jax as a benevolent, generous, friendly guy, who helps someone else who was stuck and couldn't do it alone.
