ELEX

Some end-game questions. Thorald, Wardek, Wunderlust.
1) Is Wardek's quest choice specific or his actions to sabotage Jax's mission and send him into the trap are baked into the game? And is it possible to find Wardek anywhere in Magalan after the ending?

2) Thorald. Unfortunately, Ulbrich Assaul quest revealed his location waaaay before it actually had any sense and when the time to look out for Thorald actually came, I (Jax) already knew his location. So, is there a quest line to find Thorald if you haven;t bumped into him during your adventures?

3)Wunderlust, its description states that you get +25 cold resistance. Does it have any actual benefit on exploration, i.e. you can get to previosly inaccessible locations or you still freeze to death in a matter of seconds? If yes, are there any specific points of interest to see? Maybe Claws' new base or something like that?

1) Not that I know of. It's an opportunity for ELEX 2.

2) Thorald and his pilgrimage are mentioned very early by people within Goliet, not only by Ragnar. Due to free world movement, if you explore early enough, obviously you will run into him with the story development lacking behind.

3) Together with the Last One Standing ability, it helps while crossing snowy mountains indeed, but there is no pass anywhere where to follow the Claws. And one can sneak/climb/jetpack over the mountains to the Ice Palace without using such helpers anyway.

So, does this mean there is no story development at all or you get a special quest/hint from Ragnar or other Berserker? Because I found him with the help of entirely different quest -- Ulbich Assault that asked me to find a leader for the attack.

Well, I'll be waiting for ELEX 2 then. Hope, they'll get bigger budget.
Zardom asks you to find Thorald. Ragnar is pretty much the more dumb leader of the berserkers while Thorald is away.

3)Wunderlust,
I think thats just an easter egg because there was a herb in Risen with that name
Possibly. Although, "Wanderlust" is a German word, and for a German developer company, it is not unusual to reuse words in their games.

Yes , I understand, but is that "go there and find Trorald" or "speak to those guys, they will tell you some secret location, wait till stars align and then jump three times across a pitfire"?

P.S. I thought Wanderlust was a joke name, like "he lusts for wonders" or "his lust for wandering across mountains".

Thorald is alone, and he hasn't told anyone where his pilgrimage would take him. So, turn on the map markers for that mission, or keep them turned off. You choose.

In case of doubt, ask a search engine.
