pressing alt will pause my game and show a cursor, how to fix it ?

there is a strange behavior when I press the alt button it pauses the game and show the cursor until I press anything the game continues to play, is there a way to fix it ? I mean alt key is pretty essential for this game.

Perhaps you play in windowed mode and need to turn on fullscreen"fullscreen only"?

I've never had that myself, so if that's not it, dunno.

sadly thats not the issue, I am playing it fullscreen

There are two options in the menu, 'full screen' and 'full screen only', setting it to the latter fixed it for me.
