Can't equip a shield, despite not having a weapon equipped or anything, i cant equip one. Is there something i need to unlock?
Ive been playing for almost 7 hours but i cant equip a damn shield, i have an energy shield and i meet the stat requirements but i still cant equip the thing. Help?

You can not equip a shield if you dont have a one hand wep equipped

going to my inventory and clicking on equip
