16GB RAM? HOW?
Hi,

I wont hate this game, because I really like post-apocalitc RPG games. But this game does not have good graphics, dialogues and animations.

How is possible ask 16GB ram for this .... ? (I wont complete the phrase)

You can hate me, tell me "you never played ghotic" but guys... be realistic please. In this game everything is wrong.

2017 still looks 2010 game?

Anyway I will give a chance to this game (When will cost 10 euros ;) ).

Game using around 1.5Gb RAM, quickloads are pretty fast for me even on HDD.

Yeah, it doesnt have the graphics of Battlefront 2, or any AAA title nowadays, but the game itself still beautiful. Look the whole picture. Also, u havent played gothic and u know nothing.

You are missing a lot by being snobistisch about the graphics.
And yes - 16Gb of RAM is advisable, because the whole world is loaded in, and it's BIG. However, the game will run fine on 8Gb too, because that is the minimum requirement.

If the game is good is an personal opinion. I think it's good, and you think it's not. Fine - we disagree about that. No problem.

Most system requirements are meant to be a guideline, not a strict value. I run 8GBs and it runs great.

Thank you for answering my question, instead of complaining like the fanboys above.

Have you seen Skyrim Special Edition? It's a 2011 game and looks far worse than ELEX, yet is still high up in Steam's top sellers list. It also has a worse combat system, and worse story and writing, yet people seem to love buying it even in 2017.

Textures are one of the biggest things that take up memory, and so a game with a lot of different textures, and with higher resolution textures requires a lot more memory than a game that has a lot fewer textures, and lower resolution textures.

Also ELEX recommends 16 GB, but requires only 8 GB. Games are starting to recommend 16 GB of RAM, so it's good to get, if you're able.

Complaining that the game looks like from 2010 in 2017? and u wanna give it a try when it cost 10 euros? cant wait to see your review... game looks from 2010 and its 2019.. and the game doesnt look that bad. Fallout 4 had bad textures too and this game has zero loading screens in the world and the map is huge + zero dlc and no creation club.. its a bless to play a game without DLCs or Microtransactions in 2017.

np! I forgot to add I am playing at 1080p.
No big issues yet either, runs between 60 and 70 fps and havn't had any crashes yet.

Fallout 4 is far better than this. (Fallout 4 - High Resolution Texture Pack ;) )
