Main Characters VO is horrid

Risen 3 also suffered from the same poorly chosen voice overs.

The first guy Derso, his VO would have been a much better choice for the main chars VO. I can’t believe these devs have not figured this out. Here’s a hint devs, when you put your hearts into a game like this.

Make sure you choose someone with a good sounding Voice to portray your main character.

The guys doing the VO acts like he doesn’t care about the character he’s portraying. And it makes the game feel cheap.

Based on the actual background of Jax. His voice character sounds great. Meaning because jax is still recovering from elex withdrawals he would sound lifeless and emotionless. Now if he still lacks emotion near the end then I would agree that the VO Actor wasn't the best choice!

You may now understand why I usually play every game with English dubs: Because mostly the English synchronization is the original and the original mostly is the best.

This game is made by a German developer and it's main voice-over is German.
You may not be able to switch to German, because you wouldn't understand a word (no offense, but it's not like English - everyone understands English nowadays), but this is the way it wants to be played, like an English game also should be played with it's original English voice-over.

I am really sad that the English dub seems to not be good (according to peoples posts in the forums).

I completely understand your POV! An American voice actor could be refreshing in that aspect! Either I don't mind it. lol I tend to read dialogue choices out loud anyways!

no need to insult im not saying its the best voice acting im saying if u look at it in the sense of oh yeah elex destroys your emotions. there fore your voice is lifeless.... just like TW3 Geralt voice is horrid to but also great because it sticks to the theme of emotionless character.

I was scarred by playing all of the STALKER games in English so for me to really take notice of bad VO in games it really takes something horrid to get my attention. I can say they're definitely not great, though that tends to happen with translations.

Men of War sets the standard for bad voice. At least, I think it was men of war. This one hasn't bugged me yet, but there is still time. Haven't played long yet due to work.
