The thing with PB games, is that overcoming these challenges leads to something glorious on the other side. These design decisions aren't made because of incompetence, but instead with a specific intent. But it's an aquired taste. Some of the best games ever have the most disastrous production values, like Vampire Bloodlines. I played it on release unpatched, and they forgot to insert all level transitions so it was literally impossible to finish without using console commands to manually load levels. It's not the kind of experience you can casually recommend to someone. But for those who could appreciate it, it was the best.
I tried parsing reviews for information about the key details I'm interested in, like if animals have their own time of day cycles where they go to sleep, or different types of attack patterns. Doesn't matter if the AI is "good", just that they act like animals and don't just run straight at you. These details enamored me in Gothic 1, and it's kind of pathetic Bethesda haven't bothered to replicate this in any of their games. Also, do NPCs still shout at you if you enter their homes? But whatever, I already bought the game, so I'll just wait and find out myself.
Is Ok but I must boost mode on ... I have 60fps but sometimes feels dropps for 40/45 fps. its for me..
rofl it doesn't run at 60 fps on console. It struggles to maintain 30 even on pro with boost enabled which means poor optimization.
Hm its weird.. I play now and i feels 50-60fps?? My mind is crazy?
Judgigng a game for it's animations, AI and whatnot?
Games are meant to be enjoyed because of it's story, depth and world. All of those are PB's strength.
Or how do you play games? Do you run in circles, jumping like a madman and enjoying good animations????
None of those reviewers, none of you pessismistic morons have played the finished game and yet you are judging it as if you knew the whole game.
When you play a game, instead of just watching it on YT, it feels completely different.
For f* sake I cannot see this word animations anymore. It seems to be the ONLY non-BS point of most people why this game is bad.
Another Piranha drone...im starting to think this is some kind of Cult, a dangerous one, finally a lazy and old Bjorn Pankratz, with half of his old team missing and after milking over and over the Piranha Cultists, will finally retire with a good enough pension to survive and rent an apartment in Germany.
"judging for it's animations, AI and whatnot?" : yes pal, because you know, it is ALSO an action RPG where you spend 80% of your time beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of every form of life that can move and can be hit.

Well, like i said in a previous thread, ppl should not take distances fropm 13years old kids bashing the game because the first game they ever played is Fallout 4, no, ppl should be aware and take distances from the dangerous deadly Piranha Cultists.
Because they understand the new gamer-period. These guys want to have an easy-fast action-boom-boom- with a 1 hit and mass kill godlike character.
They also understand that this new type of gamers have this focus: 90% Graphics/Animation, 9% Bugs and 1% for gameplay, deepness and atmosphere of the game.
So you win the graphic-plebs in loving the new COD and ranting about an Elex or all with not top notch graphics. With this they secure their jobs.
Edit: Look at the negativ reviews, most of them because of the graphics/animations. atm i think this game is ok.
