Finished Paladin Quests, level 19, then? SPOILERS
That's weird, I need reach level 25 for Paladin, character is level 19 but close to 20, and quest logs don't show me much.

I only have 1/2 quests from other factions not joined and it looks more like a bug that they are still here. I only have 3 things to do all relative to kill big robots and/or kill erbs group. I have 3 weird quests I don't like the choices they offer and they are shown are optional. I have done all Edan quests but can't upgrade Paladin need level up from 19 to 25 lol. I don't have any companion quests to continue.

Frankly it's very weird to have that in logs and game says you that you need level up 6 levels.

Well I probably know what to do:
- First get Outlaw companion I never saw, which is very weird knowing I never met her despite I was ready to join Outlaws and now I joined Berzerkers.
- Find a way to kill erbs groups and big robots, knowing I don't have the skills to use the grenade launcher I got some drops, I wonder, perhaps try with a flamethrower I got from drops and can use.
- Finish anyway stuff related to other factions not joined.
- Finish quests shown optional but offering crap choices I don't like, seriously help construct a bomb, participate to some humiliation action, kill a man in middle of Cleric fort, sigh.

The huge hole of the game is the very few quests when you join a faction, that's hugely disappointing, and totally unexpected. There's a serious problem of quests proportions balances with factions management. For sure if I knew this would become this grinding I would have try dig more other factions, but I was ready join the two other factions, or at least was at final quest.

Another problem is the very bad balance between close range and long range. Common, the shooting gameplay is very weak, MEA shooting is 10 time deeper, 10 time more fun, 10 time more diversified. And the balances favor hugely long range, because of numerous (too late) enemies coming back to lang range even at short distances, this making close range fighting a group just ridiculous.

The game just don't have enough quests, with so few there's a problem with blocking everything from other factions when you join one. With so few there's a problem to expect so much level up and shown it so late. Seriously, first requirement is level 15, second is level 25 and between them the game offer me only 3 more tiny quests? LOL

A more minor problem, how the hell I could join Outlaw faction and have never seen the companion of the area (I didn't knew then this area had this option).

So I can go at other factions and dig NPC for more quests? Mmm that would be a bit better than options I seen and I listed.

EDIT: Frankly that's not natural because the game warns you you'll be unwelcome in other factions when you join one.

If it's where the duke and his throne is, dam how the hell I didn't noticed she was here, I thought she was upstairs or elsewhere. But I get there very few and very late already not interested in joining Outlaws or met her as I didn't guess she could be a companion.

Sure, even when never see her she is an interesting NPC from talks about her, but I didn't want play Outlaw and kept her for a future play. So I didn't search her much.

For promotions quests, final cleric promotion quest is sill open, it looks like a bug and going to troubles to try continue it.

Is this an answer for another thread? I don't see much the link with your post and the thread.

EDIT: But that's interesting, when I'll switch to bootcamp, set the game in English, and I'll compare with my list of quests done and to do to your.

I answered with this in the other thread too

From memory:
- Companions it's like you but Angry because I'll need go pick Outlaw companion even if Im already Berkzerker.
- Abessa, I have already done all of this.
- Edan, I need kill a cleric I spared and who is now in Cleric town, I really don't want do that murder for the suckers :-)
- Tavar, mmm that's probably Outlaw town quests, not really Tavar quest, I thought not be welcome anymore in those towns, even if I noticed they wasn't attacking me.
- Big Bang, yeah I need progress it, sorry but story point of view or character point of view, it makes no sense. I could pick the parts so nobody could find them, but past that it's non sense.
- Campaign of vengeance, I can't remind, either forgot either it's past the point where I'm stuck, kill 5 weak Erbs (in fact 4 already killed one with help of some spiders).

Well now I know for sure I won't trigger ton of bugs when digging other towns after joining a faction, check more in deep Outlaw NPC is the first thing to do.

Lol ok it makes more sense.

EDIT: I'm still quite disappointed that join a faction unlock so few and so tiny quests. It's more a factions Morrowind blueprint than a factions Gothic blueprint. :-)

The saddest is that it also means that factions won't bring much changes to a replay, beside later character building.

I had also a bug with Big Bang, I got the quest from Duke and markers was removed when I joined berzerker and before start it. But later when wandering for parts for a companion by luck I found the next progression point.

Well unfortunately I have to agree. Im Berserker and now at level 20 and the requirement of 25 to become paladin (Erzkrieger) is ridiculous without having some quests there. I mean, for what did i become warrior? For three quests? Really? And they were incredibly easy too, no challenge at all.
Don´t get me wrong I love this game, but the moment you realize that you have to level up 5 more times without any quest of that fraction is the moment you realize how much is missing there.
I still can´t believe it. I´m finally warrior and there is literally nothing to do.

Sometimes a quest won't just appear until you talk to the right person. You have to really explore everywhere and talk to every NPC you see. Make sure to also do that in Origin and the Domed City where you can pick up a bunch of extra quests. I've had the same thing several times where I only had a few very difficult quests or quests that I couldn't complete because I needed to be on a new chapter to complete them. So I just went exploring and found more quests.

Then don't ignore the Main Missions. The game is designed to focus on the main missions despite the dangerous territories you would need to travel through. You can become Warrior at level 15 already, and then Ragnar sends you on a few missions, such as clearing The Blood Path. If you become Warrior when you're overleveled already, that is easy, of course. But you don't get enough missions from Ragnar or other berserkers to become Paladin. You are expected to be active everywhere in Magalan following the main missions. Once you've become a Paladin at level 25, Ragnar expects you to act on your own and focus on the Ice Palace and whatever is required to fulfill your primary goal.

Ok thx for the advice.

I confirm it was most of my problem source, at some point main missions become less clear, you focus on everything else, and forgot go back to main quests.

Second trap was that a dialog option was looking like a roleplaying dialog choice I didn't want do. But in fact it was required to unlock progression and open a new chapter and multiple new quests.
