Refuge of the Separatists, how the heck do you do this?

I'm a veteran of Gothic and Risen games, (Gothic 3 EPIC, Risen 1 my all time 2nd favorite) I am about level 4 now in ELEX, I like to explore first, take a look around learn the lay of the land, and then go slow on joining factions, picking sides and stuff.

Right now I’m doing the quest to find the Refuge of the Separatists (or whatever the first mission to fin the Alb refugees is called) but every time I get near the location on my map a cut scene appears and forced to fight 2 Albs with blasters? They won’t talk to me.

Is this right? Is there a trick OR are these not the Albs I’m actually looking for?
Do I just need to level up more and then kill these clowns?

they at the south convertor...not the at eden convertor.(those abs are ones sent to eden to look for something)

Go back later, it's good to bring some assistance at your level if you really want to go there. But you can postpone going there, the quest is not timed.

Actually the mission I'm trying to do is called "Contact", sorry about that I was doing some Bing searching trying to find some clues, got confused, and came up with that quest title.

Thanks y'all, I'll keep exploring for now, I love with these games where I can just pick up everything I find, I'm finding a ton of stuff.

Just a tip for exploration, when exploring a building for example, always check the roof.

Just a tip for exploration, when exploring a building for example, always check the roof.

Oh yeah, I check everywhere, I'm like 8 hours in and completed like 2 small missions, one of them I had to bribe the bartender...lol I'm going to search every spot on the map! I found some interesting ruins, a resort of some type, I'm going through the thing from top to botton. Love me some JetPack!!
