I just wonder what the devs did thought about. I've got second armor on level 15 and even on that level quests become somewhat of shortage. And then, after getting rank 2 at faction, I do get just three quests (rather ordinary) and with that I am supposed to get on rank 3?
You'll end up with a ton of experience and Elexit if you do.
Hunting mobs is necessary if you like to explore or make Elexit, so no reason to do all the quests of the game too early. I had the achievement of the 300 quests done at lvl 34. And I still have all the quests of the Domed City left to do.
About the armor, well... It's a flat damage reduction so if you have the armor they sell to everybody, you don't have much to gain from improving your armor anyway. Armor isn't that great versus Skex, rotboars, and the likes.
I think you just rushing on the main quest and nv do all fractions quests at all or maybe just few quests.
There is so many quest including side or mini quests and even elexit potion for experiences to craft.
You are stupid liar. You made every side quest? It means that you ran all over the map searching for quest-givers in every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of the world, and you was killing all monsters you encounter. Of cause this is grinding.
I was like level 31 or some such nonsense by the time I was done with chapter 1 on my first playthrough.
Also played till level 27 without faction and armor (OVER 300 quests, also got the achievment for that), if you play a ranged fighter, you could play it near naked.
But now finished the game with level 39 and best cleric armor, but still have that 2 "search the whole map" quests left ...
Small Elix potions give you 100 exp so if you don't care about your cold level you could make and drink a hundred or so.
Make 100 bone marrow soups and get the good eater, find 5-6 king's sorrels and golden whispers, make potions for health and stamina and go kill everything on the map. By level 20 you should have at least 60 damage weapon or more. With tier 2 armor, bone marrow soup and 5-6 potions of each this is more than enough to clear the whole game on ultra with melee.
There is no need to grind. Do all the companion quests, Origin, etc. The converters are extremely easy to clear compared to grinding on the map and you can push the main story without problems.
