Even if it was presented numerically, it wouldn't make a difference because no matter the numbers, people just turn those numbers into a percentage anyway.
The bar is 1/2 full, you only have 50% more XP to get, whether you know what the actual numercial value is, becomes moot, because even with a numerical value, all player do is see "2,000/4,000 XP" in the XP bar, and they just mentally say "Oh, I'm half way there" and it doesn't matter whether those numbers are 2,000/4,000 or 100,000/200,000 it's still going to be 50%
Also, do NOT waste Elex potions on XP, you should make them for Attribute points
Using Elex potions for a measly +100 XP is completely wasteful.
Go for the Elex potion that gives +2 Attributes or +1 skill (both of which can be made from the +100 XP elex potions)
Seriously? If I see 2000/4000 I think I need 2000 more .... because if a e.g. mob gives you say 500 exp I know I need to kill 4 to level. At 100,000/200,000 it is 200 .... A percentage value helps me exactly zero to figure out how long it takes me ....
If I would have known of the small elex potions in the first 5 levels, It would have worked wonders though, I think.
