All stats and perks are FAKE, are you serious??
Have read through several forum and reddit posts, as it seems, most stats and perks have NO effect at all, and their descriptions are plain lies.

Are you serious?

Just erase that stuff from the game if you decide to remove their effects completely.

Can forgive sloppy Gothic-style controls and everything, but NOT when absolute core mechanics are FAKE throughout the whole game.

There's way too much "misinformation" in the stat and skill descriptions. Just look at Bookworm... reading books never gives you XP, 100% broken.
books are bugged. Not skills. They should give xp but since they are bugged and not giving xp. I mean skill probably adds %5 xp gain from books since those books yield 0 xp: 0x5/100=0

So the skill that add "Attack Strength" but literally do nothing? The skill that adds "Parry Strength" but literally does nothing? Try reading any reddit posts where they test stats/skills/mechanics and see how many things don't work or do nothing.

That's not "Bad Translation", it's broken mechanics and an untested game. Am I supposed to be able to stamina exploit any humanoid NPC and kill them at lvl 1? Only a developer can tell me if it's intended or not.

Prepare for invasion of kids that will call you a troll, or a loser because you can't play.

lol reddit sure. Dude have you even read what you have quoted? I'm talking about books there. As for STR for example 40 damage weapon with 40 str probably is something like 44 damage weapon upon hit.

STR DEX etc giving no direct damage wouldn't be even a problem.

But stuff like "gives more HP for each level" which DOES NOT WORK AT ALL, that are problems. XP gain when there's 0 XP gain. "Attack strength" is also very clear, but no effect.

I've played all Gothic and Risen series, there were never such elemental problems.

You said "Not Skills". You didn't say "Bookworm is 100% a skill working as intended." Your plural use of skills would thus apply to all skills.

But adds attack strenght and parry work. Or you didnt notice that some enemies(or you) wont get knocked down having those or do extra heavy attack damage? Bookworm thing is a item issue not skill issue

So when I use Cheat Engine to give myself +5000 Parry Strength and my Parry takes the same stamina, and I take the same damage, it's working as intended? interesting...

The flat Parry value from armor actually helps your parry. The "Parry Strength" referred to by the skill does nothing at all.

does it say reduced stamina from parrying? it says it reduces knockback. It doesnt say reduces stamina from parry. Plus enemies have perk and skills too.

For increases attack strenght it says it increases with each hit; try chaining up couple of light and heavy attacks with it to see the difference. On difficult after getting that and having 30 str i'm able to beat some creatures i couldnt beat before

Parry is useless in general. It only slows you down and slown stamina regen. Gothic 2 didnt have the stamina nonsense and it was a great game. Last game that was good.

Apparently you're one of the only people in the world that magically has a noticeable effect from these skills.

I already explained it to you. As devs told this stats dont have huge effect on combat. Increase damage with each blow seems to work. I'm not 1 shotting stuff but it got easier after having that.

You get increased damage with each attack without even having the skill.

Simply building your combo meter gives you greatly increased damage. The idea of doing a dodge/counter to chip away at an enemy is 100% ineffective. It's like they saw Dark Souls and said "Let's make R1 spamming the end-all-be-all of ultimate attack strategies".

Unless you're using a ranged weapon and then the combo meter doesn't exist for you.

I don't even care about "just little effect".

I'm talking about *completely* wrong descriptions, as e.g. "more HP for each level" and who knows what else.
