Hey there, future students!

Today is a big day for us at Sackbird Studios: we can finally talk about our upcoming game, Hijinks High!

As some of you may know, we founded the studio back in September 2025, after the cancellation of a huge MMO project and massive layoffs. Since then, we have worked hard to make our own project as indie developers, and that’s how Hijinks High was born!

Hijinks High is a co-op party game for you and up to five friends. You're students with exactly one goal: cause as much mayhem as humanly possible before the final bell, without getting caught.

The whole school is your playground, and nothing in it is safe. Grab it, place it, hurl it. Lockers, dodgeballs, jetpacks. If it isn't nailed down, it's fair game. And when you run out of things to throw, well, your own body has a few contributions to make. (yes, exactly the ones you're thinking of)

Your teachers won't be happy about any of this. In fact, they will do everything to stop you and haul you off.

You're still just a kid, though. Crush pizza, slam sodas, and chug milk to keep your energy up, but overdo it, and you're gonna make a mess out of yourself and everything around you: a screaming bladder, rolling nausea, and a very real shot at passing out cold before the day's even half over. But don't worry, your friends can haul your ragdolling carcass to the nurse's office and bring you back from the brink.

When the bell rings, there's only one way home: the bus. But by that point, you've probably got the entire school faculty out to get you. Grab your friends, make a run for it, and try to make it out in one piece.

We've got a little bit of everything so far: bodily functions, dodgeball, destroying the bathroom, a secret vent system, some sort of weird particle accelerator physics lab with a black hole (how can this school afford that?), jetpacks, sheep(???), slingshots and spitballs, you name it. 

We're a small indie team building the exact game we always wanted to play, and this is just the beginning. We've got a lot more to show you as development rolls on!
