So why must there always be only 2 teams?
I think this game could get alot more depth with more teams.
Yes it will be possible 2 teams team up against one team but it is still last fort standing so when someone is losing it is tacticly better to attack the aggressor.

The current team vs team has way to often when someone starts losing it is over...

You gotta keep in mind this is a 2D game. Fitting 8 Forts onto a map that can all hit eachother without beeing a) meleecombat b) super easy or not at all hitable by all other teams aswell as c) unfair for any of the teams is not the easiest of tasks.

and just because you lose your teammates doesnt mean its over. Im often the last one to go down but when the time comes my teammates vanish I usually got my 3 canons / lasers up and can rip through most defenses. I don't wanna say it's easy but if you lost 2 teammates without those two at least having one damaged heavily you play 1v3 anyway.

Time will tell if the devs come up with something good.

yea i hope so, they have lot's of possibilities with cliff and hanging forts to overcome the fact that they are 2d, they only need to figure something out for the weapons being placed to aim at more diffrent directions. If they keep devoloping this game i see this game going to do this sooner or later.

Maybe there are going to be top/bottom facing weaponary. Like unguided rockets, bombs and such

the problem i see is that once you defeat a opponent your weapons might all be facing the wrong way. or they might have the wrong angle.

right now you can delete a weapon and you have a small timer to rebuild them (for free) anywhere else. so you after you defeat an opponent you can easily move your ♥♥♥♥ to another location. This to would give the remaining opponent(s) the time to prepare for your assault since you are going to face your weapons their direction...
