In Team Death Match the game tries to separate the players on a side into different forts as much as possible, and each fort has its own resource pool.
regardless, I saw a lets play where 4 guys were playing against 4 AIs but even though they had 4 cores/bases they still shared the same resource pool (the video is around half-a-year old).
EDIT: and everyone gets the same comander?
These guys had both a map with 4 cores where they shared their resources and a map with 1 core where they shared their resources. so i guess those are both co-op? :|
