How does the game play?

Heya, I've seen this video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bI40B6m4w-Q and it looked really cool. So I've looked for some more gameplay and essentially only found weird ♥♥♥♥. Games where you couldn't build more mines, games with some weird tanks, games where you didn't build anything and destroyed a base with AT-AT's and this all looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid to me.

This thing is the one single game which looked good to me and I seriously don't know how the actual gameplay of the game is right now. Is it normal that you essentially only have all that weird ♥♥♥♥ going on and games like the one I found first are the exception or do people simply not upload any other content?

Ohh also, how alive is the game as of now? If I'm looking for a 4v4, how long would it roughly take me to find one? And of course, a 4v4 of a gamemod like the one posted above.

Campaign? I don't care for NPC battles. I looked for the 4v4 and 3v3 games.

Most games aren't those gimmicky ones. The YouTubers make videos like that because that's what pulls views. Usually players dodge any lobby that tries to add any weird / goofy mod or thematic map.

you will most likely find people that just build almost nothing and then get a tier 3 weapon that one shots your base
