Forts Free MULTIPLAYER Weekend

This is bringing in so many players. Maybe the server list will continue how it is now with 20 lobbies instead of 4. How will this affect the future of Forts?

I personally love that I can have a million more options than before.

We are doing our best to bring more players to the game. Ranked Multiplayer seems to have helped too. We will continue to find new avenues.

BTW, it's the FORTS Free MULTIPLAYER Weekend...we need to make sure that's clear for everyone as Valve forgot to specify that it's multiplayer only and a few people got upset by that. The whole game isn't free, just multiplayer and a small segment of the campaign.

Can I join a server as FreeWeekendPlayer? It throws me every time out in the lobby.

Yes you can, but what might be happening is you might be joining "ghost" servers. Next time you go to the lobby select screen, wait a moment, and you'll see some servers disappear. This is the game filtering out left over lobbies. At this point you can also click refresh to be certain you are looking at live lobbies. Now you should be able to join.

There is more to the campaign or is it intended to be the tutorial?

Yes, there is a lot more to the campaign in the full version. Early on in the campaign it tends to hold your hand and tell you what to do. Later on the situations are more difficult and you are left to figure things out on your own.

It worked! All I had to do was waiting some seconds.

I played two 2vs2 games and it was fun (one lost and one won). I'm going to buy the game. And I think a friend of mine will also buy.
