The price of apple products is ridiculous as well and alot of people who think it's worth it buy it as well. It's called modern economics
The Moonshot features (4 weapons, 3 commanders, portals), game mode (capture point), and maps can be played by non-owners by joining a host who owns it. That's free content. Some features that came with that update are available to mod/map makers without DLC ownership, such as hazard/no build terrain. The new campaign and UI skin/music is reserved for owners.
Of course we expect a variety of responses to the product as it's priced. Some will buy it, some will wait until it's discounted, and some will not buy it at all. It's up to you to decide what it's worth, as we have done. That's how markets work.
I mean, I guess since 90% of the game is multiplayer you are providing most players with the DLC but I just often felt, while playing the game that even though the mechanics and the idea is solid it should be expanded further ya know? I mean, the languages aren't even really an addition that most of the players are concerned by. For me as a player getting an "update", essentialy that I kinda waited for as a DLC is just kinda disappointing. I will probably still buy it once it goes on sale but I just think the game feels bare sometimes which is why I made this post.
