I played shock 2 first years ago before playing shock 1, this is actually my first time playing shock 1 so it'll be fun to see how shodan is in this game.

Technically no, but it was used when you selected the sound check option.

As Syd Barrett points out the line only appears in the DOS setup programme, when you select the sound card. It's iconic. There are a couple of interviews of Terri Brosius on Youtube and her voice is simultaneously pleasant and scary. She should do an in-car navigation voiceover.

I remember that the sound test for Wing Commander III had some funny lines as well.
