mouse click / double-click speed issue

for some reason my mouse click speed setting was defaulted to 20500 but the range is suppoed to be somewhere from 0 - 900 I think in the settings menu.

Anyone offer any advice what setting they have? I've tried 0, 100, 500 and the game still doesn't register a 'click' when I try to pick up the med patch in the very first room, nor on any of the door control buttons.

500 seems to work for me, but I don't think that's your problem. Please make sure left click is actually bound - for some reason, some have found it unbound in the settings. You can find them in Options -> Customize Controls. I'd do a Reset (Enhanced). You can also find that individual bind under the Neural section if you just want to check that.
