Where are the saved games?

Looked all over in My Documents, and my AppData directories but can't seem to locate them.

because they are in the game folder, where they belong. search for savgam00.dat, savgam01.dat etc.

I found the save games in the game folder (in a sub-folder really). But for some reason the new version of the EE (source port) does not list these saves on its load screen.

Is that because older saves will not work in the new Source Port?

Doesn't matter that much to me, as I intend to start over anyway, but thought many might want to know if old saves work.
