As for EDF5, It's a question of "if" than "when".
Last I heard there hasn't been any mention of a Western release, let alone a PC port of it.
I feared as much. Oh well. :(
The game sold near 100K on steam alone, which is roughly what it did in japan in it's life.
~30% of that 100K are Steam Japan Accounts too. They'd be a bit dumb to not bring it here in the end.

Look at KOEI's JP releases, no PC versions until the Western releases. So again, just wait, if they announce it, it'll be near the Western release.
- The game is releasing this summer for PS4 in Japan
- Every main EDF game has had a worldwide release, so it's 100% sure this one will too (it has usually taken 6-9 months after the initial release)
- The PV2 has english subs so that's even more confirmation
- Up to this point, D3P has only ever self-published 2 games on Steam, so we have no idea yet if they just tossed them out there for a laugh or if the PC ports are here to stay. Still, the demand for PC ports in both East and the West is real. It shouldn't take a marketing genius to figure out that EDF5 would certainly do much better than 4.1 saleswise
Were the english subtitles put there by gamespot, or the original footage provider?
Well it's in the official D3P channel so I'm assuming it's a professional localization job
Ah, alright. I only saw the april fools thing and the stuff posted on the gamestop channel. Didn't know they use the exact same footage.
Not just giant frogs - they seem to know how to take cover behind buildings, and have impressive looking weapons!
