Screen flickering at 144hz

Hiya fourm,

So as the title says, I'm experiencing screen flickering while playing at 144hz. Is this a bug or is the game just not able to handle being run at this refresh rate?

If it's Nvidia, it's a known problem in several recent drivers. Please try the Fusion 2017 version of the game. It's in your library already. It shouldn't have this problem.

AlenL, so, it means that if nVidia doesn't do anything, the SS HD, both TFE and TSE will be practically unplayable? I wanted to play them and the original version too for getting most of the achievements for all of them. Of course, not a big problem if I will be able to play only the Fusion. That works great anyway.

Ah alrighty. Fusion 2017 ran well at 144hz. I was also planning to play the regular TFEHD and TSEHD for achievments. Il'l just limit the FPS in these games. No biggie.

Limiting the fps to 60 with Rivatuner Statistics help with the flickering

I'm also experiencing the same thing. I have a 1080p monitor with 75hz and as soon as I start the game. There's these sort of eplitic flickers with and without v-sync. The only solution for me is to put in the lowest settings possible.

Can anyone help?

Limiting the FPS 60 seems to help.

Nvidia says that they can repro this using 378.92 driver, but the next released driver will fix the issue.

Also, please try using the Fusion 2017 build of the game (it is added to your library). It is a more modern engine revamp and this problem is avoided by using DirectX11. Plus there's a myriad of other new features.

Which is great, but if someone want to hoard at least the basic achievements for both the classic and the HD, I expect that he/she has to play through those games. ;)
