When will "Serious Fusion 2017" update arrive?

Hey there,

I am glad we, GNU/Linux users will be able to play HD versions of the game natively thanks to Croteam's "Serious Fusion 2017" update. I presume there will be cross-platform co-op support. For what date should we expect "Serious Fusion 2017" update to arrive on Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter? Should we opt-in for beta? Thanks.

The date hasn't been announced yet, but the build is ready. We are just waiting for the paperwork, marketing setup, etc. Should be in days, maybe a week....
You will not need to opt into beta. You will get the new app for free. The app will be titled "Serious Sam Fusion 2017 (beta)" to signify that it's a preliminary release and that we will further update and fix it as needed. But it doesn't require opt-in.

We've set the date for public beta release of Fusion with TFE (both flat and VR, all OSes, workshop, kitchen sink...) - for Monday, but give us until Tuesday in case there are problems putting it live. Giving a complicated setup like that to both VR and non VR users, for all different packages that currently include TFE HD... It's non-trivial.
